40-Hours RBT Course
This 40-Hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Training Course satisfies the training requirement established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and is aligned with the RBT Task List (3rd edition) and the RBT Ethics Code 2.0.
The course is delivered over five consecutive Saturdays and follows a structured curriculum designed to support both conceptual understanding and fluency in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Course instruction is provided directly by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a small-group format limited to 10 participants, allowing for individualized attention and feedback.
Key components of the course include:
- Instructor-led presentations covering all content areas of the RBT Task List (3rd edition)
- Fluency-building activities using SAFMEDS (Say All Fast Minute Each Day Shuffled) to enhance retention of terminology and concepts
- Completion of mock exams to assess comprehension and readiness for the official RBT examination
- Practical case discussions and application exercises grounded in ethical decision-making and professional conduct
Participants who demonstrate exceptional performance, fluency, and adherence to ethical standards may be referred to reputable, science-based ABA service providers. These agencies may offer reimbursement for the cost of training and potential employment opportunities, supporting participants in completing the steps required for RBT certification and professional practice.
